Black Friday 2009 will see some great deals being made available, especially in the technology area - notebooks, mac books, televisions and digital cameras will be hot this Black Friday.
The day after Thanksgiving is know as Black Friday as this is the first day that stores start making a profit and move from red to black hence the term Black Friday.
Practically all chain stores offer huge discounted deals just to get you into their store but these deals are usually limited to a certain number per store say for example 12 per store, so if you want to take up one of these offers in that particular store, you need to make sure you get there early. Some stores offer Black Friday specials only at certain times during the day.
Check the Black Friday advertisements in your local newspaper for stores, you should be able to find Black Friday deals at Kmart, Walmart, Best Buy, Target, Toys R Us as well as Sears.
Walmart opens at 6am on Thanksgiving Day and will stay open through Black Friday.
Toys R Us will open at midnight on Black Friday, Best Buy opens 5am on Black Friday.
Also check out JC Penney's, Kohl's, Dillard's and Macy's this Black Friday as you will find special offers not normally available.
